How does difficulty levels work?

Number of difficulty squares correspond to relative difficulty among other pictures here and can change slightly over time - if I add some very hard pictures, the difficulty can drop one step among some of the pictures. Pictures are divided into five groups of approximately equal size (each one having 20% of pictures).
Especially hard pictures with "Hard" difficulty are marked with a small skull symbol - these are still solvable but you will train your brain very hard with them :o)
